Events Planner

This position is for an experienced or new to event production individual. With a vibrant calendar of annual events Pointe-Marie is looking for someone to help produce and manage events. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You will report to the developer and finance committee in regards to existing events and new marketing events. 

  • Maintain existing annual events

  • Plan out promotion with marketing team for events

  • Communicate with vendors, entertainment, and decor representatives

  • Communicate with event reservations coordinator to maintain calendar and prevent overlapping events

  • Communicate with developers on expected size, cost, and timeline of events

  • Analyze events ROI

  • Help marketing manager or assistant with promotions of event and necessary design collateral

  • Brainstorm new ideas for fresh events each year

  • Attend and manage events throughout the year

  • Communicate with media for press releases

  • Communicate with Community Partners regarding their experience and exposure at events

  • Schedule content creators to attend events

 
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

Years of job experience and familiarity with google suite, sheets, and docs
